Dynapac says that its new CP28 rubber-tyred asphalt compactor offers high productivity for large jobsites. According to the firm, this is the largest and most powerful pneumatic asphalt compactor currently on the market. Users can use the modular ballast system to ensure that the machine weighs from 18-31tonnes, depending on the operating requirements of the project in hand.
The machine suits duties for finishing work or for compacting chipseal on large highway or airport-runway projects requiring a high-quality surface. The operator can also adjust the pressure of the tyres during working to suit the job in hand, from low pressure to maximum pressure in just 12 minutes.
Power comes from a diesel that meets low emissions requirements, and which is also said to feature low fuel consumption.
