Construction work is nearing completion for the US$4.6 billion Transform I-285/GA-400 project in Atlanta, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Transportation says that the work will include new toll lanes with a variable pricing system on GA-400. The work is being financed through the public-private partnership model.

According to GDOT, the Transform 285/400 improvement project will help reduce traffic congestion and boost safety in the area near the I-285/SR 400 interchange in metro Atlanta. This project has added new flyover ramps, new collector-distributor lanes and other facilities to aid east-west travel along I-285 and north-south travel along SR 400. The project is improving 7km of I-285 from west of Roswell Road to east of Ashford Dunwoody Road and 10km of SR 400 from the Glenridge Connector to Spalding Drive.

In addition, the Mount Vernon Highway bridge over SR 400 has been reconstructed, while the Abernathy Road and SR 400 interchange has been rebuilt as a diverging diamond interchange (DDI). The Peachtree Dunwoody Road bridge over I-285 has been rebuilt, as has the Glenridge Drive bridge over I-285. The project has been carried out by North Perimeter Contractors (NPC), a subsidiary of Ferrovial Agroman.]
