Entries for the bauma 2022 innovation awards will remain open until until 3rd May 2022. The bauma Innovation Award 2022 will highlight new technologies that can provide a boost to the construction industry.
For 2022, the organisers of the bauma construction machinery exhibition are introducing new categories for the innovation awards competition. The call for entries is for forward-looking technology for the construction industry. The bauma Innovation Award ceremony will be held during the trade fair week from 24th-30th October 2022 at the showground located in Munich, Germany.

Candidates can submit their documents using a form in the web portal. To do justice to technical progress and social as well as political developments, the responsible members in the task force have revised the categories. They are:

Category 2 Digitalisation
Category 3 Mechanical engineering
Category 4 Building
Category 5 Research
VDMA Construction and VDMA Mining, together with Messe München and the leading associations of the German construction industry HDB, ZDB and bbs, are conducting the multi-stage competition process and are hosting the awards ceremony in the Max Joseph Hall of the Munich Residence.
