Rebuilding work is being planned for one of Ukraine’s major highway connections. The E95 route from capital Kiev to the key port of Odessa is currently in poor condition but will benefit from a major upgrade. Financing worth US$900 million is being provided jointly by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Once the work is complete the link will meet international standards for highway safety. The road improvement project is expected to take up to 36 months to complete
