The Birmingham City Council highways management and maintenance contract is worth £2.7 billion. Meanwhile, the Suffolk County Council contract is for highways maintenance deal worth £1 billion.
The package of works for Birmingham City Council will be for a 12-year period between 2023 and 2035 and will include performance-related terms. The Suffolk County Council contract is for a 20-year period from 2024 to 2044.
