Superior Industries says that its new, next-generation Cemco vertical shaft impactor (VSI) offers high performance for materials production. This new VSI is claimed to combine the strengths of the legacy Cemco platform with features from Superior’s Valor VSI. According to the company, its revolutionary design delivers optimised rock-on-rock performance.
Key features include a new rotor and chamber geometry. These help to boost efficiency, while a rotating anvil ring extends component life and reduces maintenance needs and running costs. However, the new platform maintains parts commonality across models and offers multiple chamber and rotor options. The new C1920 is the first model available and features a V-twin drive.
