Superior Industries says that its latest screening technology offers increased efficiency and performance. The new Independence unit is a high-frequency screening plant.
The unit has been developed to deliver product to tight specifications from challenging feed material. This new plant pairs a multi-slope, two-deck design with a vibrating feed box that is said to spread material evenly and effectively for stronger stratification and maximum open-area utilisation. The motors are mounted in an outboard configuration which simplifies inspection and maintenance tasks.
Meanwhile, a VFD control system allows individual tuning for each deck, while a fully enclosed body reduces dust emissions. An automated clean-out cycle helps move sticky material, resulting in up to 20% more capacity in the same footprint as previous generation screens.
