ADM is introducing its new EX 300 continuous-mix asphalt plant which delivers high-capacity, versatile production support. The machine can handle up to 50% reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in the feed and is said to offer a combination of high efficiency, mix consistency and uptime.
The EX 300 is the latest addition to ADM’s EX Series of continuous-mix asphalt plants and is designed to meet growing production demands. The EX 300 delivers a rated capacity of 270tonnes/hour and fills a key gap within the EX Series line-up.
The plant features proven single-drum counterflow technology with separate drying and mixing zones, allowing up to 50% RAP in the feed. The design maximises heat transfer, as well as fuel efficiency and mix consistency. The firm says that the plant is available in portable, relocatable or stationary configurations, adding that the EX 300 offers a versatile, high-efficiency solution for a wide range of asphalt-production applications.
