Major road improvement works are underway in Argentina. There are 10 major road upgrade projects being carried out in the north of Argentina at present, for a total of over 607km of roads.
Key projects include repairs,maintenance and resurfacing work for Ruta Nacional 34 and Ruta Nacional 50 in Salta Province, accounting for around a third of the total distance being worked on. These roads link with neighbouring Bolivia to the north and are important for trade and transport between the two nations.
Road works are also being carried out in Argentina’s Catamarca Province, Chaco Province, Corrientes Province, Formosa Province, Jujuy Province, La Rioja Province, Misiones Province, Santiago del Estero Province and Tucuman Province.
