Ammann claims that its new ATR59 and ATR66 rammers offers high power and productivity. These machines also feature extra low hand/arm vibration levels, suiting them to longer periods of use by site personnel.
Replacing the ATR60 and ATR68, the new ATR59 and ATR66 models are said to be easier to use. Improved features include new gearboxes and a better centre of gravity for both units, making them easier to handle and manoeuvre. Ergonomics have also been upgraded, ensuring that operators can work with the units for longer and with greater ease.
The Honda engines operate at lower rpm, making them smoother in operation, reducing fuel consumption and working noise, as well as emissions. Other improved features include a redesigned air filter and tougher and more long-lasting components.
