The contract for a stretch of elevated expressway has been awarded in the Philippines. DM Consunji is the contractor that will carry out the construction work to build the NLEX-SLEX Connector Road Project Section 1. The firm will build 5km of the 8km route, with the contract worth US$429.7 million. The package of works was awarded by NLEX Corp and involves providing a new link road from Caloocan, connecting to C3 and to Espana Boulevard in capital Manila. Construction is expected to take 20 months and should be ready for traffic in 2021.
