The project for the new Transmission Gully link in New Zealand is now being reviewed. Concerns have been expressed over the increased cost of the project, as well as delays that have occurred.
The work was initially intended to be complete in April 2020, but will now take until September 2021 until it is ready to carry traffic. Meanwhile the cost of the project has jumped from the initial price of around US$550 million to $805 million.
