A new road improvement project is planned for Gabon. The work will see the country’s road network benefiting from a series of improvements.
At present just 20% of Gabon’s roads are surfaced, but the work will this increased to 25% of the network. A budget of US$78.2 million has been set for the work. A further $78.2 million will be used to build new roads across the country as well as to improve links in the capital, Libreville, by the third quarter of 2023. The plans have been drawn up by Gabon’s Ministry of Public Works.
