The tender process is due to open for alarge highway project in China. The new road will connect Kunming City with Yuxi City in Yunnan Province in southern China.
The work is expected to cost US$1.83 billion. The project is due for completion in 2027. The 44.6km route will feature a design speed of 100km/h.
