A new bridge is planned in Thailand that will link the island of Koh Samui with the mainland. The project will help boost the tourist industry in the area, as well as providing better transport access for local residents.
A study for the project will be carried out by the Expressway Authority of Thailand(EXAT). Once the feasibility study has been prepared there will be further more detailed studies carried out. Construction is expected to commence in 2028.
