Official approval has been given for Thailand’s $505 million M9 motorway project. The new motorway will provide an improve transport link between Bang Bua Thong and Bang Pa-in.
Once the motorway is complete, it will provide an improved transport connection between Nonthaburi Province, Pathum Thani Province and Ayutthaya Province. The project will be managed by Thailand’s Department of Highways, with financing being sourced via the country’s budget for 2026.
