A new tunnel link in Montenegro is being proposed that will improve transport and help develop tourism. The tunnel would run under the scenic Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor) on the Adriatic Coast.
The area is a centre for tourism in Montenegro so building the tunnel would help develop the sector and would improve the country’s economy. The route would provide a direct connection between Lustica and Zelenik. Building the 1.7km tunnel is expected to cost €60 million.
