The 1650 WT dozer from case CE delivers increased productivity

Case is offering its three latest M-Series dozers, which are said to offer higher pushing power and increased grading accuracy. The machines have FPT engines rated at 97, 123 and 194kW, which meet Tier 4 Interim emissions requirements. Drive is hydrostatic, allowing full power in turns, as well as fine control for fine grading or slope duties. The dozer is equipped as standard with machine control technology from Leica Geosystems, with whom Case CE has a partnership. Customers have a choice of 2D or 3D packages, depending on their requirements.

The 1650M weighs in at 20 tonnes and features a 4.04m3 blade, with a choice of U blade or semi U blade. The blade ends are also foldable, making the machine easier to transport.

Undercarriage options include wide track, long track, extra-long track and low ground pressure variants. The tracks feature lubricated bushings and a new heavy-duty design that is said to boost chain and undercarriage life by up to 40% in the toughest conditions, delivering significant savings in maintenance costs. The machines have one-piece main frames that are said to improve load distribution, allowing the units to handle heavier loads. The box section PAT frame design also boosts stability when working with the blade angled, while reduced torsion on the frame is said to boost the accuracy of blade control.
