Case is making a big push to expand and enhance its technology stack that helps operators work smarter, not just harder.
From myCASEConstruction — an easy-to-use portal and app that centralises real-time fleet data, service records and more — to new 2D and 3D machine-control solutions, as well as safety intelligence and connectivity functions, these offerings are part of a CASE and CNH initiative to introduce the most cohesive technology stack in the industry.
Most of the technology comes from Case’s recent acquisition of Hemisphere, a company that brought with it a comprehensive portfolio of high-precision, GNSS-based 2D and 3D machine-control and guidance-positioning hardware and software to improve the efficiency and productivity of excavators, dozers and wheeled loaders.
According to Rob Maybry, a global product manager for precision technology at Case, all this new technology rolls up into the new RoofX, a rooftop attachment that combines GNSS antennae, lidar and communications to the cloud and can be attached to the roof of any vehicle.
“We’re now the only OEM that owns its own GNSS technology,” said Maybry. “And that gives us the freedom to innovate at our own pace and focus on meeting real customer needs.
