Road repair work is being planned for the German federal states of Saarland, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate during 2022.
A total budget of €400 million has been set for the work. Repair and maintenance work to the roads of Hesse State will cost €190 million. The autobahn links in Rhineland-Palatinate State will benefit from €140 million for general improvement works. In Saarland State, €70 million will be used for upgrades and maintenance works to roads and bridges, with 200 separate projects being carried out.
