The Hessen Mobil traffic authority will begin preparatory work in April for the construction of the Eschenhahn bypass for the Eschenhahn district of Idstein.
The B275 is a feeder route to the Idstein junction of the autoroute A3. As such, the village of Eschenhahn, with just over 700 inhabitants, sees around 13,000 vehicles passing through it, including many heavy trucks.
Idstein is a university town of 25,000 inhabitants around 25km north of Wiesbaden and 50km northwest of Frankfurt in the Rheingau-Taunus district of the federal state of Hesse.
