LiuGong is unveiling its improved battery-electric vehicle (BEV) line-up which is designed to eliminate maintenance hurdles while maximising fleet longevity.
The 856HE wheeled loader is setting durability records with a test model in the UK surpassing 19,900 hours of continuous operation in heavy-use environments, with comprehensive data confirming its sustained performance and battery health. By extending the service life of heavy equipment while cutting operating costs, the 856HE is showing that BEV technology offers a solution for industries worldwide.
The firm says that the 870HE electric wheeled loader and 922FE electric excavator also offer zero-emission operation for urban construction, indoor work, and municipal projects. Features include instant torque, low noise, and reduced maintenance. Operating cost savings can exceed 40% through fewer wear components and streamlined service.
Other new electric machines include the 820TE loader which achieves a full shift on a single charge with a rapid two-hour recharge. LiuGong is nearing production on multiple autonomous models designed to offer 24/7 operational capability, further lowering the total cost of ownership.
