Dubai plans to further expand its road network with a significant investment in new connections. The project will cost just over US$1 billion to carry out and has been approved by the premier of the United Arab Emirates.
The project is for a five-year plan of expansion, upgrades and modernisation. Maintenance and improvement works will also be carried out to existing links. Construction is expected to commence in 2025, with work to be carried out in 12 specified areas.
