The winner of the tender process for a Colombian dual carriageway project will be announced in August 2022. Several companies have submitted bids for the 35km road stretch, which is expected to cost US$920 million and will connect Buga with Buenaventura.
In addition, the winner of the contract to build the section of road will also take over the concession to operate the whole 128km dual carriageway, of which the new 35km section forms a part. Maintenance of the whole dual carriageway will also be included in the package.
