Work on the Macalito Bridge in Colombia should be completed by the end of 2021. The bridge forms part of the Via al Llano road project, which is itself moving close to completion. The project forms part of Colombia’sroad expansion programme.
The Via al Llano road link is expected to open for traffic in mid-2022 and construction of the Macalito Bridge is costing over US$48 million.
Construction of this road link will improve travel and transport in this area of Colombia.
