Three road concession packages are being offered for tender in Brazil. These are for roads in Rio Grande do Sul, Belo Horizonte’s ring road and Sao Paulo’s ring road.
The works will cost in the region of US$2.45 billion. A number of bidders are already showing interest in the projects, despite the tough economic situation in Brazil at present.
Meanwhile, Minas Gerais State is offering a package of road works worth over $429 million. A number of road stretches will be improved and will be repaved. New bridges are also being planned while road maintenance work will be carried out.
