Due to continued requests for speaking slots at ASECAP Days in Bratislava next year in May, the deadline for submitting papers has been extended to December 1.

The organisers of ASECAP said that the Call for Presentations deadline – now December 1, 2025 – is the final opportunity for potential speakers to share expertise, innovative projects and best practices within the European toll road and motorway community.

Speaking slots are filling fast and places are limited for the opportunity to share success stories, project details and research results with key decision-makers, operators and policy stakeholders from across Europe.

Historic Bratislava has many museums, theatres, galleries and other cultural and educational institutions including several universities. It is the largest city in Slovakia and also attracts a million tourists annually, meaning the mobility is a top priority for the greater urban region. This makes it an ideal setting for ASECAP Day 2026. The theme for next year’s event, from May 27-29, is ‘Investing to make road infrastructure resilient for Europe’s future mobility needs’.

As ever, the annual event will bring together the best and brightest of the entire European toll road community – chief executives, experts and policy leaders. Presentations and discussions will focus on how to make road networks more resilient, sustainable and future-proof. It is not too late to submit a paper and contribute to the dialogue on Europe’s future mobility.

Europe faces the dual challenge of climate adaptation and geopolitical resilience with the European Union’s military mobility plan. Investing in sustainable, smart and safe road infrastructure has never been more urgent. The 53rd ASECAP Days – at the DoubleTree by Hilton – will provide a platform to explore how targeted investments, cutting-edge technologies and innovative financing can transform Europe’s road networks for tomorrow’s mobility requirements.

ASECAP – Association Européenne des Concessionnaires d’Autoroutes et d’Ouvrages à Péage – is the European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures. The 53rd ASECAP Days event will be hosted by ASECAP’s Slovak member NDS.

The conference will address a wide range of key topics, including:
✅ Developing Climate-Resilient Road Networks
✅ Harnessing Pricing Systems to Achieve Net-Zero Goals
✅ Rethinking Investment & Innovation for Carbon-Neutral Infrastructure
✅ Enabling Innovation in Roads & Traffic Management
✅ Digital Roads & Smart Applications
✅ Road Safety at the Core: From Innovation to Vision Zero
✅ Cooperative & Connected Mobility
✅ The Future of Tolling & User-Centric Services
✅ Alternative Fuels & Sustainable Transport Systems
✅ Investing in People: Attracting Young Professionals
✅ Advancing Circular Economy & Environmental Sustainability

The ASECAP network comprises more than 81,000km of toll motorways, bridges and tunnels across 17 member countries (Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey) and managed by 123 companies.
