A new road project is being planned in Taiwan for New Taipei City. The work calls for the construction of the Tamsui North Shore Road Project.
Building work for the new road is expected to commence during 2021. The construction phase should take until 2023 to complete.
The new road will measure 5.45km in length and the work is expected to cost close to US$204 million. Once the work is complete and the road is ready for traffic, it is expected to cut journey times between Tamsui District and Beitou District, which lie to the north of the Tamsui River.
