Manitowoc said that its new mobile training and technology centre is an “industry-first mobile classroom” that offers modular, on-site training for customers and North American dealers.
The spacious facility, measuring 12m x 7.6m, can help streamline skills upgrades for large-crane owners and dealers. It travels to site on a 16m step-deck trailer and is deployed via hydraulic jacks for set-up in only six hours. The Wi-Fi-enabled centre is packed with multimedia, including three TVs and a SMART interactive board. Manitowoc provides the instructors for training sessions that are tailored to customer needs.
