Construction work is already underway on 320km of highway projects, according to Romania’s road authority, CNADNR. A new stretch of the A3 highway will connect Cluj-Napoca with Oradea in the north of Romania, providing transport improvements for the E60 route. Construction work is also being carried out for the section of the A1 highway linking the cities of Sibiu and Pitesti, which forms part of the E81 route.
