Julius Berger will carry out a series of bridge works in Nigeria’s Delta State. The US$169.4 million package works includes construction of three highway bridges as well as a number of smaller pedestrian bridges. Also included will be the construction of an interchange and some new road stretches in Warri.
The work is needed as the heavy trucks moving to and from the oil producing areas of Delta State have caused heavy wear and tear to existing bridge and road connections. The authorities in Delta State, in Southern Nigeria, are focussing on improving transport infrastructure.
