Construction work is due to commence shortly for Indonesia’s Gilimanuk-Mengwi Toll Road. Located in Bali, the route will measure 97km in length.
The route is planned to be built in three separate stretches, from Soka-Mengwi, from Pekutatan-Soka and from Gilimanuk-Pekutatan. A notable feature of the route is that it will feature facilities for cyclists, the first time these have been incorporated into anew toll road project in Indonesia.
The project is costing US$1.72 billion and the project is being handled by Tol Jagat Kerthi Bali, which has a 50-year concession deal for the link.
