A new coastal road is being planned in Vietnam to improve transport between Tay Ninh Province, Dong Thap Province and Vinh Long Province. The project is expected to cost $270 million, with completion due in 2030.
The work is being managed by the Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board of Dong Thap Province. The project includes building five bridges, with the largest being the Ben Chua Bridge and the work is being carried out in multiple phases. The first section of the new coastal road will measure 23.6km and link Gia Thuan Commune to the bridge that spans the Tien River at Tan Phu Dong Commune.
