A series of road repairs will be carried out in Kazakhstan during 2021. The work will be focussed on Kazakhstan’s western region. Improvements and maintenance work will be carried out to 300km of roads in the region. The upgrades will cost close to US$82 million. However, this is a notable drop from the road repair budget for 2020 of $99 million, which also saw 436km of Kazakhstan’s roads benefiting from a range of improvements and maintenance work.
