International Tunnelling Awards 2024

Industry colleagues, clients and fellow engineers are stars of the projects and young engineers shortlisted for the 2024 ITA Tunnelling Awards. The ITA Awards and SIG Conference will be held in Genoa, Italy, from 28 to 30 November 2024.

Industry colleagues, clients and engineers are the focus for the projects with many young engineers shortlisted for the 2024 series of the ITA Tunnelling Awards.

There are 25 finalists across categories including road, rail, water management, beyond engineering and engineers of the future. For example in road projects there are three entries, one for a mega project and two for renovation works including the upgrade of an immersed tube highway.

The 25 finalists will present their projects during roundtable discussions at the ITA Awards Symposium on Thursday 28 November 2024 in Genoa, Italy. Hosted by the Società Italiana Gallerie of Italy, one of the 80 Member Nations of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, the ITA Awards Symposium will be followed by the SIG annual conference on 29 November 2024 followed by an organised visit to the Terzo Valico dei Giovi high speed railway project construction site on Saturday 30 November.
