The necessary funding has been secured to pay for a major Colombian road construction project. Construction of the Transversal del Sisga road connection is expected to cost around US$208.5 million. The package will include financing from funds that are managed by Ashmore, Blackrock and CAF. It will also include funding from the Colombian business Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN).
Once the highway section has been completed it will improve transport and cut journey times from Sisga to Aguaclara.
