The Finnish city of Turku will benefit from a major ring road project once complete. The €250 million project includes replacing an existing stretch of ring road with a new tunnel section in Raisio, on the North West side of Turku.
Preparatory work as well as demolition is being carried out in mid-2026. The entire ring road project is due for completion in 2030.
Building a new interchange with multiple levels for the project is costing €150 million while the new tunnel section has a pricetag of €80 million.
