Trimble is offering updates for its successful Earthworks offerings. One upgrade is for dynamic swing-boom support, which is for use with small excavators featuring a boom-pivot system. The new tool means that operators can pivot the boom for working alongside buildings or walls and still benefit from full precision guidance. This tool suits use with smaller contractors. Cameron Clarke at Trimble commented: “It’s an aftermarket solution for use with smaller excavators.”
Meanwhile, the firm also has an Earthworks solution for use with towed scrapers. The system is fitted in the cab of the towing machine, controlling the lift of the scraper box automatically.
