Road improvement and maintenance works are required for Costa Rica to help upgrade the network. The Costa Rican Government is keen to source funding for the programme of works, which will be targeted at improving 713km of roads identified as being most in need of work.
A loan worth US$500 million from the Central American Bank of Economic Integration (CABEI) is being sought by the Costa Rican Government.
