A consortium will build a bypass around Bangladesh capital Dhaka. This project will be the first ever PPP project for the country. The 48km route will cost nearly US$363 million to construct, with the consortium handling the work under a 25-year concession package. The construction consortium comprises Chinese contractor Sichuan Road Bridge Group, Shamim Enterprise and local company UDC Construction.
