Indonesia’s road network is growing at a healthy pace, though further expansion is required to meet demand. At the end of 2013, the total length of Indonesia’s national road network was 38,750km. This marks a significant increase from the total of 34,628km recorded in 2004. Meanwhile the total length of the country’s road network has increased to from 373,523km in 2004, to 508,968km in 2013.
