The US state of Pennsylvania has now concluded its programme of road repairs scheduled for 2021. The repairs and maintenance works have been carried out by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation,PennDOT.
The major works have totalled 43 projects that have cost US$102 million out of PennDOT’s budget. The work has been carried out in six counties across the state. However, work is due to recommence on a number of projects in 2022 as the weather improves once more. One of the key projects is for an upgrade to I-90 close to Erie.
