Construction work has been completed in Turkey for the road tunnels at Krkdilim. The work forms part of the project for the new 25km route between Çorum and Laçin. The three stretches of twin tube tunnels on the route measure 1.4km, 1.16km and 1.5km. The construction of the new road with its tunnel stretches will reduce journey times on the route from 30 minutes to 15 minutes, as well as boosting capacity and reducing congestion at peak periods.
