A new elevated road link has been proposed for Ho Chi Minh City(HCMC) in Vietnam. Estimates suggest that the link could cost around US$1.32billion to construct.
The elevated road is being designed with two lanes in either direction and is intended to reduce traffic congestion at peak periods in the city. Measuring 14.1km, the route runs from Nguyen Van Linh Street to the intersection of Truong and Cong Hoa.
The project is expected to be carried out under the build-operate-transfer model. The project is being managed by HCMC’s Municipal Government. The proposal for the project is being handled by HCMC Infrastructure Investment JSC (CII).
