The three nations have agreed to develop the Lapis Lazuli transport corridor in a joint project. The countries have now signed an agreement to work together on the transport corridor. This international transport route runs from Afghanistan to Turkey and passes through Turkmenistan,Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Development of this route will be of crucial importance for the region, boosting trade and transport and helping develop the economies of the respective nations.
