The tender process is opening in Israel for work to widen the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. The project involves widening the route by adding a lane in either direction. Two new bridges will also be built as part of the project, which is expected to be worth some US$124 million. The first phase of the widening work to the Ayalon Highway is already underway, having commenced in July 2019 and construction of the second phase will start shortly. This new tender process is for the third phase of the highway widening project.
