Global Highways: ‘Infra Stage’ at Intertraffic Amsterdam

The internationally acclaimed Intertraffic exhibition in Amsterdam in March is where mobility professionals and highway infrastructure professionals will meet, exchange ideas and network over four days.

Sustainable mobility for ‘Smart Cities’ needs sustainable road infrastructure from smart professionals. That is whereGlobal Highwayscomes in. The magazine’s readers are dedicated professionals who design, build and operate much of the world’s most sustainable infrastructure for Smart Cities.

The internationally acclaimed Intertraffic exhibition in Amsterdam from March 10-13 is where mobility professionals and highway infrastructure professionals can meet, exchange ideas and network over four days. Since its launch in 1972, Intertraffic Amsterdam has been the platform of choice for professionals from around the world to do business and get up to speed on developments in the fields of infrastructure and road inspections, traffic management, design safety, smart and connected mobility and much, much more.

The expected 30,000 attendees from over 140 countries expected this year will discover innovations and solutions from more than 900 exhibiting companies. Attendees are typically from manufacturers, government agencies and road authorities, engineering design consultancies, major road contractors, research organisations and academia.

Global Highways Infra Stage

This year, for the first time,Global Highwaysis proud to announce that there will be open Infra Stage – and sponsored by Global Highways – with continuous presentations from both public and private sector professionals. Speakers will be from the ERF, Greenroads, BMW, PAVE Europe, IRF, CEDR, Dynaroads, Arup and many more.

The ‘open’ aspect of the stage allows for attendees to drop-in whenever they can and sessions will run continuously, including question-and-answer times for each speaker or speakers. Topics covered will include procurement and alternative financing of projects, contraflow traffic management, crash barriers in the age of electric vehicles, noise abatement, traffic volume data analysis, road inspection techniques and policing/enforcement.

Innovation Awards

Meanwhile, 15 pioneering mobility innovations have been announced as finalists for the Intertraffic Awards 2026, showcasing breakthrough solutions in three categories: the Green Globe Award, recognising environmental sustainability; User Experience Award, championing excellence in usability; and Inspiration Award, for groundbreaking new technologies set to lead the industry.
