FAE now offers important functions for users of its RCU55, RCU75 or RCU120 remote-controlled tracked carriers. This function allows tracked carriers to be moved safely and quickly using only the FAE App because external equipment is no longer required to transport the vehicle in the event of a signal failure.
The new function makes it possible to switch the diesel engine on and off and manage its rotation speed, drive and steer the vehicle (including in reverse), raise or lower the attachment and make the track width wider or smaller.
This new function will come as standard on all new RCU55, RCU75 and RCU120 vehicles. It is also available as a retrofit on request, while the FAE App is available for both iPhone and Android OS.
This new app allows users to monitor machine-operation data, such as fuel economy and working pressure. The FAE app displays failures, with a description of the malfunction and the parts involved. It also allows users to export problem reports if maintenance or repairs are needed. Users receive required maintenance alerts, including hours remaining until the next scheduled maintenance and work needed.
In addition, the firm is offering its new RWL/SSL wheel saw for skid steers. Suiting trenching works, the RWL/SSL is compatible with skid steers from 37-56kW and can make channels up to 350mm deep with modular widths of 2.5, 3 or 5cm. The depth indicator allows for precise management of working depth, while the self-levelling skids and optimised side output maintain that depth and keep the trench free of waste. The RWL/SSL can be equipped with the Basic WSS – Water Spray System to reduce dust and cool teeth.
