Merger creates Ennis Flint

US-based Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions, parent company of UK-based road safety products manufacturer Ennis Prismo, is merging with Flint Trading to create Ennis Flint. Steve Vetter has been named the new company's chief executive and Matt Soule as chief financial officer.

Advanced vehicle monitoring technology

PIPS Technology has commissioned two Journey Time Measurement Systems (JTMS) in Gravesend and Tunbridge Wells for Kent Highway Services (KHS) in the UK. The JTMS locations consist of 34 Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and JTMS software all provided by PIPS Technology.

Terex excavators for Belgian company

Belgian Terex distributor, Terex Kemp, is supplying 18 excavators to Groep Verbraeken Construction in a deal that the company says should help instil confidence in the Belgian construction industry. Terex Kemp, the main Terex distributor for Belgium since 2003, is delivering ten TC35 and five TC48 compact crawler excavators, alongside three TW85 compact wheeled excavators. Haulotte Group (HG) increased its Q4 2011 sales by 13%, compared to the same period of 2010. The rise took consolidated October 1 to December 31 2011 sales to US$107.1million (€82.2 million) compared with $94.5million (€72.5million) in the same three months of last year.

Driver feedback signs cut speeding
