Hamm is claiming a first with its hybrid 9 tonne HD+ 90i PH tandem roller. The German manufacturer believes that it is the first roller manufacturer to develop a production-ready machine. Most hybrid solutions, as in the case of cars, combine an internal combustion engine with an electric motor.
